The facility is clean, temperature control, and they Supply a loading dock that is indoors and carts to transport from unit to unit or truck the unit. Went in today to put items in the unit and met Joe. He was helpful in reviewing the unit and explaining the use of the entry system to both the after hours entry point and the unit itself. Great experience.

Mila and Tom were incredible and Mila got an extra charge refunded extremely quickly when an error did occur. We will definitely be using this again if we need it and would recommend anyone to use this specific location because of their amazing staff

This is my second review for Metro Self Storage Lake Bluff highlighting the solid customer service here. Shout-out to Joe in Front office and Keith on property for solving my on locker access issue. Joe and Keith were very professional and focused on solving my issue. Strong customer service in general including Manager Mila who made sure I got extra documents that I needed this week. Metro Self Storage Lake Bluff is an excellent storage location with an excellent customer service team. We have been customers who have rented from this clean and well-kept facility over the past 12 years. No pest control issues here. My only disappointing experience was with the Corporate Office (not the Lake Bluff office) who are NOT flexible in their policies and procedures in general and in particular for our family despite signifiant monies spent with Metro Self Storage renting from them continuously for over 12 years. So future renters and customers – you’ll get great customer service from the Lake Bluff Office but be aware of Corporate’s lack of flexibility if you have any disputes with your storage contract.

Once it got sorted out everything was fine but even though the Website says you need to bring your own lock (and I made a special trip to go get one & opened it & distributed keys rendering it un-returnable) you actually have to buy a lock there from them. You’d think they would just add that in given the profit margin on storage. Also, I made arrangements online & the confirmation seemed like everything was all set. However, once I arrived they expected a copy of my insurance declaration page. I’m not sure was mentioned during the sign up process. The guy at the desk couldn’t have been more friendly especially considering he was dealing with a very annoyed me. The facility is very clean & now that these hiccups have been resolved it probably will be just fine.
